As every year, the CN Traveler readers voted to establish a ranking of their 25 favorite cities for 2014. This year, ahead of cities like Florence Charleston (North Carolina) and Budapest (Hungary).
Italy is the second most represented country in the standings with three destinations. Rome and Siena to join Florence. In mind, we find the United States with five cities on this list.
Austria and Thailand are tied for third place with two cities each.
The results also suggest that travelers particularly appreciate South East Asia, very represented in the standings at the expense of East Asia. The only city in the region to be on the list is the Japanese city of Kyoto, in last place.
The four other Asian destinations are all in the sunny southeast of the continent, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
Europe takes ten places, especially with eastern cities such as Budapest, Prague and Krakow.
There is an obvious lack of British or French cities in the rankings.
